We are currently recruiting for a Millwright for our client in Oldcastle, ON. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Proactively complete maintenance work which includes electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and general repair and maintenance of all equipment to maintain quality and production levels
- Troubleshoot equipment and miscellaneous downtime issues
- Perform preventative maintenance of equipment within manufacturers’ specifications
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
- 3rd year Apprentice or 433A certification required
- Ability to perform and instruct in the operation, repair, rebuild and dismantle of all types of equipment and tools without supervision
- Stamping press repair, automation repair, maintenance of industrial equipment, preventative/predictive maintenance skills required
- Ability to operate any and all equipment required to complete job functions, including tool room equipment
- Must have extensive knowledge of air and hydraulic systems, air refrigeration, air compressors and proportional valve repairs.
- Must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to implement hands on corrective action
- Must be willing and able to travel across international borders.
- Machine Builders with Fabrication background considered an asset
Pay: Depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours a week + over time
