We are currently recruiting for a Health Care Sales Specialist for our client located in Wiarton, ON. This is a full-time position which operates from Monday-Friday on a steady Days schedule. We are offering relocation assistance or a moving allowance for the right candidate!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist customers with home health care needs including but not limited to scooters, walkers, wound care, ostomy supplies, bathroom safety, bracing, and rentals.
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
  • Process government billing options for customers such as WSIB, ODSP, and ADP.
  • Coordinate with Occupational Therapists and physicians.
  • Create quotes for equipment pricing.
  • Accurately measure and fit clients for proper equipment or product.
  • Maintain sufficient pharmacy inventory levels.
  • Travel off-site to provide assistance to individuals in residential settings.
  • Educate patients and their families on strategies for managing their conditions and maximizing their independence.
  • Answer phones and schedule appointments assigning appropriate time, date, and location, ensuring the highest level of customer service.
  • Consistently demonstrate a compassionate and patient demeanor with all clients.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a similar health care role is required.
  • Experience in medical equipment sales is required.
  • Certified Compression Sock Fitter is required.
  • Knowledge in mobility devices such as wheelchairs, roll aiders, walkers, crutches, chairlifts, grab bars, and brace fitters.
  • Experience with insurance and billing procedures is required.
  • Experience with the Assistive Device Program (ADP) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with acute care procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks such as operating medical equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • The ability to commute or relocate to Wiarton, ON.
  • The ability to commute to and from client homes to evaluate medical equipment needs.
  • G license and the ownership of a personal vehicle.

Pay: $20.00-$26.00/hour.
