We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Forklift Driver to join our client’s team in Windsor. In this role, you’ll be responsible for moving, loading, unloading, and staging raw materials, finished goods, and production components to support smooth warehouse and production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down, stand-up, and reach forklifts safely and efficiently
- Load/unload trailers, containers, and transport vehicles
- Deliver materials and components to production lines on time
- Inspect materials and packaging for damage or discrepancies
- Track inventory accurately using WMS or scanners
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow 5S standards
- Assist with shipping, receiving, stock audits, and cycle counts
- Report material shortages, damages, or safety concerns promptly
- Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company policies
- Participate in training and forklift recertification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Valid forklift certification (counterbalance, reach, or clamp truck)
- 1–2 years of recent forklift experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of warehouse processes and inventory systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate equipment for long periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, safety-driven workplace
Location: Windsor, ON
Employment Type: Full-time, Rotating Continental Shifts (Days and Midnights)
Wage: $20.50/hour
