Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Loading and unloading cargo on and off docks

Sorting and organizing cargo efficiently

Fastening and lashing pallets used for cargo stacking after loading

Ensuring safe handling of materials and adherence to safety protocols at all times
Requirements and Qualifications:
-
Ability to work in all weather conditions, as this is an outdoor role
-
Comfortable working at heights
-
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
-
Physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs, and performing tasks that require pushing, pulling, and bending
-
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
-
Strong organizational skills and prior warehouse experience are essential
Mandatory Certifications and Equipment:
-
Completion of extensive safety training, including:
-
Ladder Safety Training
-
WHMIS Certification
-
Health and Safety Awareness (4 Steps for Workers)
-

Must have 8-inch certified steel-toe boots (CSA approved) – proof of certification is required prior to reporting to work
Shifts: Day Shift 8-12 hours a day
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Additional Pay:
- Overtime aid after 8 hours
