We are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper for our client in Windsor. This is a Full-Time position with operations on a day shift. There is the opportunity to be hired on directly with the company.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing Bank Reconciliations and Weekly Payroll Processing
- Posting Journal Entries and preparing Trial Balance
- Managing General Ledger Reconciliations
- Performing Month-end Closings
- Daily Accounting
- Handling and assisting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Preparing/Completing Custom Documents, Imports & Exports
- Government Remittances
- Responsible for ROE’s, T-4’s
- Record Financial Transactions
- Assist with Job Costing
- Prepare W.I.P.
- Answering Phone Calls, Filing and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Reserve and Maintain Lodging Requirements as Required
- Assist with any other tasks as discussed
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
- Post-secondary education in related field
- 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience
- Self-Starter with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Word/Excel & Outlook
- Familiar with ESA (Employment Standards Act)
- Experience with Sage 300
