We are looking for Marking Assistant to join our Western Canada team to support Crop Protection, and Seed Operations. This role is critical to helping us tell the company’s story and support our sales teams with smart, effective marketing communications.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the Marketing Communications Leader / Seed Marketing Communications Manager, you’ll support the execution of internal and external marketing communication strategies, including:

  • Supporting marketing strategies and promotional tactics for:
  • Crop Protection (herbicides, fungicides, biologicals, seed-applied technologies) or
  • Seed brands (Pioneer® and Brevant®)
  • Assisting with the development and coordination of marketing and communication materials
  • Working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams
  • Managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Helping deliver integrated communications that support overall sales efforts
  • Occasional travel to local fields (3–4 times per year)

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
  • 2-year degree considered
  • Master’s degree is not required
  • 1–2 years of experience in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations
  • Agricultural background or knowledge of crop production systems is an asset

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English required)
  • French communication skills are an asset
  • Experience with both digital and traditional communication channels
  • Ability to manage timelines, priorities, and multiple projects
  • Project management experience is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Calgary, AB

Pay: CA$24.00 per hour
