We are currently seeking a Millwright for our client in Windsor, Ontario. The Millwright will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and repairing machinery and equipment used in production. This role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and interpreting blueprints to ensure safe and efficient operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, and adjust machinery and equipment.
  • Perform start-up, testing, and shutdown operations.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective machinery parts.
  • Perform routine maintenance and fabrication of parts as needed.
  • Work with conveyors, compressors, pumps, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and robotics.

 

Qualifications

  • Completion of college or technical training.
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience (5 years preferred).
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Blueprint reading experience is considered an asset.

 

Working Conditions

  • Manufacturing/production floor environment (50% of daily work time).
  • Exposure to industrial manufacturing, chemicals, robotics, and weather elements.
  • PPE required at all times.
