Our client, a dynamic and growing organization, is seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator to support their payroll operations. Job Summary:
As a Payroll Coordinator for our client, you will play a pivotal role in managing payroll operations, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and handling various payroll-related tasks. In addition to your payroll duties, you will be responsible for the onboarding and offboarding of new employees, ensuring that all necessary documentation and processes are completed in a timely manner. This is a hybrid role with 2 days required in the office and 3 days remote. The ideal candidate will have experience using WorkDay, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly or bi-weekly payroll using WorkDay.
  • Verify accuracy of timesheets and payroll data to ensure compliance.
  • Address payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and file all necessary payroll taxes, reports, and year-end documentation.
  • Perform data entry related to payroll, employee information, and benefits.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and perform data entry into the payroll system.
  • Coordinate with HR and other departments to ensure seamless payroll processing.
  • Assist in the onboarding and offboarding of new employees, ensuring that all relevant payroll and benefits paperwork is completed.
  • Perform additional payroll-related duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Strong proficiency in WorkDay payroll systems is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll tax laws, benefits, and employee deductions.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all payroll-related tasks, including data entry.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other payroll-related software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Additional Information:

  • This is a hybrid position, requiring 2 days in the office and 3 days working remotely.
  • Job Type: Contract – 12 Months
  • Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
