Our client is looking for skilled Welders to join their team. You will be responsible for MIG welding of steel components, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring work meets quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up machines/tools per job instructions and maintain welding equipment.
- Perform MIG welding (steel); occasionally weld aluminum and stainless steel.
- Ensure weld quality and tag materials appropriately.
- Follow safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.
- Report incidents and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications:
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent (Welding certification preferred).
- Experience: Welding/manufacturing experience is an asset.
Skills:
- Read tape measures & blueprints
- Understand IATF 16949 quality standards
- Strong attention to detail & steady hand
- Team player
Additional Information:
- Must work 50%+ of the day on the production floor.
- Exposure to noise, fumes, and industrial equipment.
- Police clearance required (fee deducted from first paycheque).
- Reports to: Production Supervisor; works with Quality Assurance team.
