We are currently recruiting for a Water Meter Repair Technician for our client in Windsor. This is a contract position lasting 6 months with the possibility of extension. Rate of pay is $26.82/Hr
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Install, maintain & repair all water meters & accessories pertaining to all water meters.
• Change dial plates, resets readings & replaces components or registers.
• Performs field tests as required, repairing & overhauling industrial, commercial & boundary meters on site & at meter shop.
• Diagnose problems & apply corrective action.
• Drive to Various worksites using a company vehicle.
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
• Completed Secondary school and have obtained OSSD or Equivalent
• Must have a thorough knowledge about the operation, repair, testing & calibration of all types & sizes of meters.
• Must have a valid class “G” driver’s license.
• Required: Plumbing Ticket / 800A Certification
Pay: $26.82/Hr
Shift: Day shift
