We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor for our client in Windsor, ON. Duties would include supervising a warehouse, janitorial personnel, and activities safe and effective handling of materials, supplies and storage. This position is a direct hire with the company. The successful candidate needs to be available to work day, afternoon and midnight shifts.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain safe and efficient warehouse operations
  • Ensure materials are available to operating departments as required
  • Control material inventories ensuring accuracy and prompt disposition of rejected supplies
  • Control and maintain appropriate shipping documentation
  • Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices and compliance standards are consistently met
  • Provide support for the inventory cycle count program
  • To work with Inventory Control to support GMP and accuracy goals
  • Maintain and create accurate Standard Operating Procedures and One Point Lessons
  • Working in compliance with the company’s Health & Safety Policies/SOP’s including but not limited to the Safety Responsibilities Procedure
  • Review of Material Requirements Planning to determine component and raw material levels
  • Use MRP data to coordinate movement of components and raw materials
  • Prepare shipping documents for subcontractor work orders
  • Daily review of hourly payroll, attendance policies and time off requests
  • Will comply with Good Manufacturing Practices in all GMP sensitive areas
  • Special projects as assigned

 

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory or leadership position
  • Post-secondary education in related discipline
  • Trained in warehouse management and supervisory skills
  • Demonstrated experience with an MRP system and Microsoft Office
  • Extensive knowledge of employee safety requirements in a warehouses
  • Ability to work and direct others in an organized and safe environment
  • Experience in SOP writing and GMP compliance in a warehouse environment
  • Strength in inter-personal, teamwork and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Forklift license not required but is an asset
  • Innovative, adaptable, and motivated towards continuous improvement

 

 

Wage: $65-70k

Bonus: 6%

Vacation: 3 weeks

RRSP: Company match 5%

Type: Direct Hire

Shift: 3 shift rotation or straight midnights
