Grinder Operator

We are currently recruiting for a Grinder Operator for our client in Windsor, ON. This is a FULL-TIME position that operates on a steady Afternoons shift. This is a temporary to permanent position, meaning there is a chance to get hired on directly with the company.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform grinding on aluminum railings using handheld buffers
• Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean
• Complete all assigned quality checks
• Meet daily and weekly production goals
• Participate in training and cross training, improvement initiatives including health and safety and quality improvement
• Adhere to all workplace safety policies, compliances, and regulations
• Other duties as assigned

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

• Completion of high school or equivalent
• Experience with hand tools
• Able to use and read a tape measure
• Able to read prints and drawings
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing
• Positive attendance is required
