Job Overview
We are currently recruiting a Territory Sales Manager for our client in Manitoba. This is a 12 Month Contract role.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Drive sales growth and increase market share for products within the retail customer base
- Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with retail partners, ensuring the consistent delivery of quality service
- Collaborate with retail customers to develop business plans that support mutual growth and profitability
- Promote upcoming technologies and crop protection and seed products to retail business partners
- Achieve sales targets, manage budgets, and allocate resources efficiently
- Assist in product demand planning and forecasting processes to ensure proper inventory and product availability
- Analyze sales and market data to identify new opportunities and develop effective solutions for customer needs
- Contribute to the development and execution of retail programs and promotional strategies
Successful candidates will meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years of sales experience, with a focus on managing and/or coaching individuals
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Excellent value selling, planning, and negotiation abilities
- Strong understanding of crop protection and seed businesses
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical skills to assess market opportunities and business performance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-starter with a positive, energetic attitude
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- A clean drivers abstract
- Daily driving required (up to 400 km using a company pickup vehicle)
