Technical Sales Representative

We are currently recruiting an experienced and motivated Technical Sales Representative for our client in the injection moulding industry. This is a work from home, full-time position based in Windsor on a temp-to-perm basis, meaning there is a chance to get hired permanently with the company. This role will focus on managing and expanding sales in Windsor and Michigan, with occasional travel to other U.S regions.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets in the Windsor and Michigan markets.
• Identify and establish relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their mould and component needs.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients to ensure product alignment with their specifications and requirements.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
• Collaborate with the internal team to ensure timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
• Travel as required, using a personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement).

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in technical sales in the plastic mould industry.
• Strong knowledge of plastic moulds and related components.
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Possess a valid passport with the ability to travel to the U.S as needed.
• Personal laptop is required but a work cellphone will be provided.
