We are currently recruiting for a Shipping and Receiving Associate for our client in Windsor, ON. This is a full-time position that operations on a straight midnight shift. Shift runs Sunday to Thursday starting at 6:30pm. Shifts can be anywhere from 8-11 hours. The success candidate will have the opportunity to get hired on with the company.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in materials and product
- Sort and place materials & product in predetermined locations
- Assemble customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or carts and relocate orders to the loading area.
- Open bales, crates, and other containers
- Record, label, and mark assembled orders
- Weigh and record weighted items
- Organize and clean warehouse
- Working in fluctuating temperatures including dry, cooler and freezer environments
- Conduct quality inspection
- Perform other duties as assigned
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
- Shipping and receiving experience is a requirement
- Pallet Jack or Stand-Up Forklift experience would be considered an asset
- At least one year of experience in a warehouse environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to repetitively lift up to 75lbs
- Basic mathematical skills
Pay: $18/hour
