We are currently recruiting Robotic Welders for our client in Windsor, ON. These are FULL-TIME positions that operate on a steady Days schedule. These are temporary to permanent positions, meaning there is a chance to get hired on directly with the company.

Position Summary:
The position of Robotic Welder includes, but is not limited to production welding, service & repair of fixtures, programs and prototype building. This position will perform welding according to pre-set parameters and programs using MIG welding processes on the robotic weld cell. Responsibilities will include repairs, the fabrication of custom prototypes from supplied drawings, fabrication of custom jigs and fixtures to produce production parts that meet customer specifications, as well as the fabrication of metal structures using jigs and fixtures in a high paced production environment using the robotic weld cell.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain the robotic weld cell and its equipment in good working condition.
  • Review, read, and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications; ensure drawings and specifications will function as designed in environment intended for use.
  • Operate robotic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using gas metal arc welding (GMAW).
  • Work directly with management to ensure robotic software program changes and adjustments are accurate and approved.
  • Monitor parts usage and report on any material issues.
  • Scan in and out of work orders.
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects.

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in robotic MIG welding
  • Experience using hand tools
  • Experience with routine maintenance and operation of robotic weld cell and its equipment
  • Ability to read production drawings, blueprints, work orders and other written instructions pertaining to fabrication
  • Ability to communicate professionally, verbally and in writing, with team members and customers
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to solve problems and resolve conflicts with team members and customers in a constructive manner

Wage: $21-$23/hr.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-4:30PM. Saturdays as needed.
