Quality Technician

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. This is a DIRECT HIRE position operating on a Days/Afternoon swing shift.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Create and or verify packaging specifications
• Conduct Dock and floor audits per the Layered Process Audit
• Oversee daily audit functions of Team Leads and provides direction as required
• Document internal rejects in our system and pass along to QM
• Report stock damage and material damage
• Assists in control of QA Alerts in Butcher system
• Supports packaging specifications Materials Handlers, Material Technicians, Production Team Leaders

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Operates within corporate guidelines of the Business Management System.
• Supports maintenance and/or initiation of the ISO 9001 certification program.
• Ensures quality records are properly recorded and submitted on a timely basis, including Calibrations
• Ensure and follow up on corrective action (using problem resolution process), are applied where results are not meeting target goals and objectives.
