Process Technician

We are currently recruiting a Process Technician for our client located in Kingsville. This is a full-time, direct hire position, operating on a Days/Afternoons rotation.

The Process Technician will be responsible for monitoring, verifying, and approving the production processes in conjunction with Quality Assurance. Duties include ensuring production requirements are met per forecasted schedule and providing/implementing feedback to ensure optimal cycle time and quality.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring production requirements are met per forecasted schedule
• Perform mold changes using approved checklists and procedures
• Clean, label, store, and organize all tools in designated areas
• Complete all changeover reports as required
• Monitor, verify, and approve production processes in conjunction with Quality Inspectors
• Provide feedback and assist to dial in each mold for optimal cycle time and quality
• Record and report to management any downtime, scrap, manpower issues, and equipment failures
• Ensure all safety practices are followed and maintained
• Continuous supervision of the shift and its personnel and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Other duties and general maintenance as required

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an injection molding environment
• Minimum of Grade 12 education or equivalent is required
• Certificate or degree within relevant field considered an asset
• High level of competency injection molding and knowledge of tooling
• General understanding of machinery and processes
• Good understanding and experience with IATF and ISO requirements
• Valid Driver’s License
• Proficient written communication skills
• Certified Lift Truck driver preferred
