We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Panel Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing custom panel systems utilizing various materials such as aluminum, composite metals, and specialty metals. This role involves collaborating with the design and engineering teams to develop innovative and compliant panel solutions for diverse architectural projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Design custom panel systems for rainscreen cladding applications, ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.

Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to create detailed design drawings and specifications.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate design solutions into the overall building envelope system.

Select appropriate materials and finishes to meet aesthetic, functional, and performance requirements.

Conduct design reviews and revisions based on feedback from stakeholders and project requirements.

Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of design processes, revisions, and approvals.

Assist in the estimation of material quantities and project timelines.

Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and design technologies to continuously improve design practices.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in panel design, preferably in rainscreen cladding systems or related architectural applications.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).

Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes related to rainscreen cladding systems.
