We are currently recruiting Packaging/Production Associates for our client in manufacturing. These are FULL TIME positions with the chance to be hired on with the company. Shifts currently available are Days/Afternoons rotation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling operations and sorting
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
- Execute and document quality inspections
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
- Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers.
- Inserts items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.
- Nails covers on wooden crates and binds containers with metal tape, using strapping machine.
The successful candidates will have the following experience:
- Must have at least 1 year of previous factory/warehouse experience
- May be required to stand for long periods of time
- May involve some repetitive motions
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
- Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold
Pay: $17.20/hour
Schedule: Rotating 7am-3:30pm, 3:30pm-12am
