We are currently recruiting Non-Emergency Medical Transporter for our client in Windsor, ON. This is a full-time position. The company offers a day shift or afternoon shift. The potential candidate has the opportunity to get hired on with the company.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Transporting patients from their homes to medical facility (this will include attending the hospitals)
- Safely transport patients via stretcher/wheelchair into vehicle or inside facility
- Open doors, assist with seat belts, and pack walking devices into the vehicle
- Inspect company vehicle at the beginning and end of each shift
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
- Candidate must be 25 years or older for insurance purposes
- Must possess a G License
- Must be able to provide a clean 3-year drivers abstract
- First aid and CPR Certified would be an asset
- Must provide a clean vulnerable sector check
- Ability to lift up to 80lbs
- Shift flexibility
- Excellent communication skills
- PPE required
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent is required
Pay: $16/hour
Hours: 40 hours
Shift: Straight day shift or afternoon shift
Type: Temp to Perm
