Our client, a well-established legal firm in Windsor, Ontario, is seeking a Junior Administrative Legal Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience in the legal field while supporting a busy office with day-to-day administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to legal professionals
- Draft and format legal documents, correspondence, and memos
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and phone calls
- Maintain and organize client files (physical and digital)
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Assist with filing court documents and performing legal research as needed
- Perform data entry and maintain confidentiality of all client information
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Legal Office Administration or related field preferred
- 1–2 years of office or administrative experience (legal experience considered an asset)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Willingness to learn and grow within a legal setting
