Our client, a well-established legal firm in Windsor, Ontario, is seeking a Junior Administrative Legal Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience in the legal field while supporting a busy office with day-to-day administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to legal professionals
  • Draft and format legal documents, correspondence, and memos
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and phone calls
  • Maintain and organize client files (physical and digital)
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars
  • Assist with filing court documents and performing legal research as needed
  • Perform data entry and maintain confidentiality of all client information

 

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Legal Office Administration or related field preferred
  • 1–2 years of office or administrative experience (legal experience considered an asset)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a legal setting
