We are currently recruiting General Labourer for our client in Windsor, ON. This is a temp to perm Full-time position that operations on a straight day shift.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain high production numbers for daily goals
- Produce product with an emphasis on quality
- Complete all assigned Quality checks
- Proper and safe operation of hand tools to meet production needs
- Maintain clean work areas and equipment
- Participate in training and cross training, improvement initiatives including health and safety and quality improvement
- Adhere to all workplace safety policies, compliances and regulations
- Use all required safety equipment, e.g. Steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses / goggles, etc.
- Perform other related duties as required
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
- Completion of high school or equivalent
- Experience with hand tools
- Highly punctual, and reliable
- Able to work as a functioning member of a team
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Must be organized, proactive, and maintain a positive attitude in the workplace
- Positive attendance is required
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, considered and asset
Pay: $15.25/hour
Shift: Monday to Thursday 7am-4:30pm, Fridays 7am-3:30pm
Transportation: Bus route (3255 Wyandotte St E, Windsor, ON N8Y 1E9)
OT: paid after 40 hours worked
Type: temp-to-Perm position
