We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Operator for our client in Lakeshore, ON. This is a full-time position, that operates on a 2-week rotating shift. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to get hired on with the company.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Manually load and unload materials
- Weigh and document materials
- Follow all safety procedures, and report anything that is unsafe
- Other duties assigned when needed
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
- Secondary school diploma or GED required
- Valid forklift License
- Previous experience as a Material Handler working in a warehouse environment
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to read, write and speak English
Pay: $16.37/hour (day shift) $16.85/hour (afternoon shift)
Shift: Day and afternoon rotation
Type: temp to perm after 720 hours
