We are currently recruiting for an Electrician (Apprentice or Journeyman) for our client in Oldcastle, ON. This is a full-time direct hire position.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment including presses, conveyors, robots, and automated machinery.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using schematics, blueprints, and testing equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to support production goals.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to minimize downtime.
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
- Licensed Electrician (442A or 309A) or 3rd + year apprentice
- Experience with presses, robotics, and welding
- Background in stamping operations preferred
- Master Electrician License (Ontario) considered an asset
- Project coordination experience is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures and OSHA safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $27 – $30/hour
Hours: 40 hours a week + over time (if needed)
