CAD Technician

We are recruiting for a CAD Technician for our client located in Windsor, ON. This is a Temp-Perm position. No option for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop panel designs using CAD software, ensuring that all specifications and requirements are met.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings and schematics for panel designs, including dimensions, materials, and assembly instructions.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback into designs.
• Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and organized design documentation, including design revisions, specifications, and project files.
• Address and resolve design issues or discrepancies that arise during the design and production phases.
• Conduct design reviews and inspections to ensure quality and functionality of panel designs before final approval.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and NavisWorks
• Experience in system design, drafting, and electrical engineering
• Experience with panel layout design and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to panel design.
• Familiarity with additional design software or tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings

Pay Rate: $20 – $30 Per Hour
