We are currently recruiting a Banquet Supervisor for a Banquet Hall in Windsor, ON. This is a full-time position. This position is a direct hire with the company.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Front of house duties including banquet hall customer relations.
  • Responsible for direct supervision of all hostesses, hosts, waitstaff, and busers.
  • Generating weekly staff schedules for all bar, wait and dishwashing staff.
  • Monitor all staffing needs to ensure coverage for all areas.
  • Assist with and develop contingencies in the event of any unanticipated staff shortages.
  • Delivering staff orientation and assisting with the training and retraining of new and existing staff.
  • Recommend and assist with any disciplinary actions of staff.
  • Ensure staff abide by uniform and proper PPE requirements.
  • Provide and assist with health and safety training.
  • Responsible for the proper dinner settings and related contract specific and timely setup for all banquet rooms.
  • Perform any additional duties directed by management.

 

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in banquet operations.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with banquet setup, service standards, and event coordination.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations is a plus.
