Our client has proudly served Windsor and Essex County for over 20 years, specializing in trailer services, vehicle accessories, and outdoor power equipment. They are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automotive Service Technician who is not only experienced in vehicle and trailer repairs but also proficient in welding and fabrication.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a well-rounded mechanic who can perform vehicle and trailer repairs, welding, and fabrication work. The ideal candidate will also have experience installing a wide range of vehicle and commercial accessories.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and service vehicles and trailers.

Complete annual safety inspections and perform required repairs.

Order and manage parts inventory as needed.

Maintain accurate work order documentation.

Install a variety of vehicle and commercial accessories.

Perform welding and fabrication work as required.

Collaborate effectively with the sales and service team.

Maintain and install various commercial accessories.
Qualifications:

Valid 310S or 310T license (required).

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.

Strong diagnostic skills.
-
Must have own tools.
-
Welding and fabrication experience (required).

Clean driver’s abstract.
-
Experience in small engine repair (considered an asset).

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent position
Salary: $40.00–$50.00 per hour, based on experience, standard benefit package available after successful 3-month probation period
