We are currently recruiting for an Architectural Technologist for our client in Windsor, ON. This a Temporary-To-Permanent position with the opportunity to be hired on full time.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Create and manage detailed architectural drawings, including plans, sections, and details, ensuring precise coordination and integration.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for design documentation and development. Experience with 3D visualization tools is a plus.
- Assist in estimating project costs and material requirements, providing detailed and accurate estimates.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure cohesive project development and adherence to specifications.
- Apply a thorough and methodical approach to all aspects of design and documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
- Take a proactive approach to problem-solving and project management, anticipating issues and addressing them effectively.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; experience with 3D visualization software is advantageous.
- Experience in project cost estimating is a plus.
- Strong understanding of architectural drawing navigation and integration of plans, sections, and details.
- Demonstrated thoroughness, methodological approach, and analytical skills. Proactive and collaborative mindset.
