We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to support a real estate office. This role involves managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Review and process real estate transactions
  • Communicate with agents to clarify or complete documentation
  • Approve forms for compliance
  • Enter and manage data using Lone Wolf Back Office software
  • Handle incoming payments and issue disbursements to agents, brokerages, and the office
  • Reconcile and maintain three active bank accounts
  • Respond to solicitor inquiries and manage accounts payable
  • Make nightly ATM deposits and transfer funds between accounts
  • Organize and file completed transaction records

 

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

  • Basic bookkeeping experience
  • High level of integrity and reliability
  • Ability to make nightly deposits at local credit union ATMs
  • Familiarity with Lone Wolf Back Office would be considered an asset
  • Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping or related field

 

Type: Contract – 6 weeks

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Pay: $30/hour
