General Labour Job Duties:
  • Evisceration (removal of poultry internal organs)
  • Cutting, trimming, and prepping poultry
  • Labeling and packaging
  • General plant duties
  • Quality control
  • Following all hygiene, food safety & SOPs
Working Conditions:
  • Warm environment (especially in summer)
  • Poultry processing exposure
  • Standing for long hours
  • Repetitive motion and physical activity
  • PPE provided — light clothing recommended during warmer months
Ideal Candidate:
  • Comfortable working with poultry
  • Experience in farming, food processing, or animal welfare a plus
  • Physically fit: can stand, bend, push, pull, and lift throughout shift
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Team-oriented and fast-paced mindset
Location: Amherstburg, Ontario
Job Type: Temp-to-Permanent
Compensation: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – Finish [Approximately 40 hours/week (8–10 hour days)]
Additional Notes:
  • Candidates must be comfortable with physical and hands-on poultry work
  • Orientation required (materials provided)
  • Straight day shift – no rotating
